Lady Pacers Blank Rising Sun, Advance to Sectional Semifinals

The Lady Pacers opened IHSAA Tournament play Monday night with a first-round matchup against host Rising Sun. Switzerland County carried a 1-0 lead into halftime before exploding for four goals in the second half to pull away for a 5-0 victory. With the win, the Lady Pacers advance to the sectional semifinals on Wednesday, where they will face the winner of Milan and South Ripley. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at Rising Sun High School.
